Nora was born and raised in Paintsville, Kentucky. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Louisville with a Master’s Degree in Education. She has had many jobs since then- from management at UPS, to real estate agent, to managing a doctor’s office, and lastly, being a professional organizer. It was during organizing that she realized many people have home goods that they cannot always take with them when downsizing. In her early 20s and 30s, she helped both sets of grandparents have estate sales and move to Kentucky to be closer to family. When the opportunity arose for her to help others sell their items instead of donating or trashing them, she jumped at the opportunity! She loves our choice of the name “Home to Home Auctions,” since that is our mission- to help people transitioning from one Home to their next Home. Helping clients let go of unwanted items and knowing they will get a second life in another home makes her (and them!) so happy.
Sarah was born and raised right here in Louisville, Kentucky. She is passionate about math and science literacy, and taught middle school for two years. During that time, she also worked at Magnolia Springs Retirement Home and fell in love with caring for her new Senior friends. After that, she became interested in supply chain, inventory management, and data analysis. For nine years, she enjoyed working in the industries of spirits distribution, manufacturing, and engineering, never losing her passion for math and making data-driven decisions to grow the respective businesses. She worked closely with Nora as a professional organizer helping clients. Now, she feels very grateful to be able to combine ALL of this experience by helping seniors and other folks downsize and liquidate their belongings.
